In the summer of 2021, I completed an internship at Synthesis Design in North Vancouver. During my internship I gained a wide range of practical experience:
-
Reviewing full construction drawing packages
-
Creating spec packages
-
Drafting elevations for a basement renovation construction package
-
Creating a well-organized interior design Revit library to aid in the firm’s transition from AutoCAD to Revit
-
Participating in critiques as well as having my own work critiqued
-
Producing renders for a West Vancouver luxury home, basement renovation, and MODCUBE modular laneway homes.
-
Participating in a site visit and client meetings
-
Learning about various material suppliers through talking with brand representatives
